discussions and its application to our daily lives. Although
this class is required for all desiring to join King of Kings as a
member, anyone can attend. The next class starts on Wednesday,
April 9th at 7:00 PM for eight sessions.
New Member
Orientation – Steve Black
An introduction to King of Kings prior to becoming a new
member. Come learn about King of Kings; its facilities, people,
and ministries. Our next orientation class begins April 6th.
Joshua
- John Griffin
Behind the historical details and the epic battles
recorded in the Book of Joshua lies a covenant of grace, God's
promise He made with Abraham and his descendents forever.
Although covering a time span of only about thirty years, the Book
of Joshua points forward in time to another Joshua-Jesus of
Nazareth-whose coming is significant forever. In both rite and
event, Joshua both anticipates the fulfillment of Abraham's promise
in Christ.
Today’s Light
– Pastor Doria
Continued
discussions on the Two Year Journey through Scripture.
Weekly readings are posted in
the bulletin each Sunday as well as the "Month at a Glance" in each Scroll.

Every
football team huddles up after each play. Basketball
teams call timeouts to regroup. Race car drivers have to take a pit
stop to refuel and get new tires. In one way or another, we all need
to take time to be recharged due to our busy lives. In addition to
our worship experiences, we at King of Kings established Home
Huddles to offer an opportunity for you to be recharged, refreshed,
and renewed.
Our small group ministry exists to
build friendships while learning and sharing about God’s work in our
lives. To grow in knowledge of God and in fellowship with one
another are two of the foundations of the Christian faith. All Home
Huddles are open to receiving new attendees, so feel free to join
one or talk with our pastor about starting your own Home Huddle.

CONFIRMATION
CLASSES TOP Confirmation is a public rite of the church
preceded by
a period of instruction designed to help baptized Christians identify
with the life and mission of the Christian community. The rite
of Confirmation provides an opportunity for the individual Christian,
relying on God’s promise given in Holy Baptism, to make a
personal public confession of the faith and a lifelong pledge of
fidelity to Jesus Christ. Both the first and second year classes
focus on the primary teachings of the Scriptures and Luther’s
Small Catechism, focusing on the Ten Commandments, Apostles’ Creed,
The Lord’s Prayer, Baptism, The Lord’s Supper and the
Office of the Keys/Confession. Interactive, devotional, and creative
elements all enhance the scriptural studies and memory work assigned.
This two year class is offered to students in 7th and 8th grade.
High school students who never went through a Confirmation course
are also able to attend a similar type of instruction if desired.
