Vision in Action!!

When we come together to worship, we praise God with hymns of praise; one song, many voices coming together in synergy to glorify our Creator.  This how we approach our Vision in Action plan at King of Kings.  One plan, many stewards and missionaries coming together to do the Lord's work!!  Here's a look at the Final Presentation to the congregation plus many of the details of our Vision in Action Plan.

Places to Serve

The LORD gives each one of us special gifts and talents to serve Him and do His work.  If you have not examined your special gifts, download our spiritual gifts survey!! Once you complete the survey, return it to the Church Office, we will score it and get it back to you including a list of ministry areas matched to your talents.

New Welcome Center

The Narthex has changed so that we can meet the needs of guests to our Sunday services as well as provide ongoing information for our members.  If you would like to join in the "Greeter Program" and thus be one who "staffs" this center before and/or after services, please contact the church office or the Outreach Board.  We will be glad to have you join the team.

Homebound Visitation Team

This vital and new aspect of ministry here at King of Kings is picking up speed!  With Norm Price being added as a new elder, his area of ministry is to assist Pastor in heading up the Homebound Visitation Team as well as encourage and facilitate his fellow elders in their contacts.

Purpose:

Many individuals in our church family are limited by age, disability, or illness in their ability to participate in the ongoing life of the church.  Our desire is to provide a "ministry of presence" by communicating our love and concern for these homebound or hospitalized persons with personal visits from the pastoral staff and members of the congregation.  A "ministry of presence" is evident through one's physical presence in the homebound member's home along with one-on-one conversations.  it is not about trying to solve a homebound member's problems.  A member of our visitation team demonstrates the love of God and the love of His people through their conversations and time spent with the homebound member.

If you would like to find out more about this rewarding ministry, please contact Pastor or Norm Price for more details.  Currently, our Homebound Visitation Team consists of Jan Heyer, Sandra Bocigalupo, Godfrey Moll, Margie Yruegas, Judie Jones, Norm and Barb Price.  Praise God for these folks who bring "the church" to people who can't attend!
